Why I love my husband

You have to love a man who, instead of buying you stupid chocolates and dead flowers, buys you something that actually matters, that you can genuinely use and is just geeky enough to make you go "cool". As an early Valentines day present ( read- it is close to V Day and I fear you may go insane and explode if the situation is not soon remedied), he ( Read more... )

Sounds like a cool new gadget. One thing you could try is close the door and turn on the shower and sink full blast as hot as it will go. Just sit in the steam. It may just do the quick trick. Wear a sweat suit while you are in there. Just let it go until the water starts to go cold or you can't take anymore and maybe even pace or march back and forth while it's going. You just may want to move the scale out of there first to make sure the excess moisture don't ruin it.

All that plus saran wrap and hefty bags worn under the heavy clothes. Sort of like the old rubberized sweat suit things mom wore in her younger days. Ideally, if I could find a way to heat some volcanic rocks to a high heat, that and steam will do it. The trick is heating them then moving them to the bathroom as well as finding big enough rocks.

I am understanding really hot baths with Epsom salts in a closed room followed by cold showers will do a similar affect on the body.If you proceed this with dry brushing of the skin it helps to get the lymphatic system kicked in and doing what it should be doing.

If i do it right, I could also cook dinner in the steam heat. Broccoli anyone ??

Another option, sounds kinda crazy, is get the rocks and heat them up and do the steam. But instead of the bathroom, use tacks or something to hang some sort of curtain in your kitchen door. Bring in a chair, or stand and excercise with the rubber suit or whatever you can find. Do it right in the kitchen, granted it's not a big room (smaller than your bathroom if I remember right) so it shouldn't take that long or much to heat it up with the steam. Just a thought.
