This is written to all of my nieces and nephews, as well as my own son. Your Grandfather is dead, and when he was alive he could not get beyond the sarcastic bratty self to say things in this way.But if he was alive and capable of speaking in his calm, down to earth, slap my bitch up style, he would also say these things to you. He certainly did to ( Read more... )

...so can I take this to mean that, over the years, God has indeed gotten even with you for tossing Thumbelina off a cliff, losing my teddy bear in the move, deliberately leaving my Monkees album over at the Calek's slumber party, and fixing Mike Turner up with Lauren? Mwahaha, me thinks He has a delicious sense of humor at times!

Mind draws a total blank...who were the Caleks and why were we sleeping with them ??? I honestly cannot remember the name at all for some reason. I remember Kalish, but Calek is drawing a blank.

Anne and Alice, twins from our junior troop in the old neighborhood, and you were kinda sorta friends with one or the other, so you got invited to at least one of their slumber parties before we moved.

...but I'm sure we'd both have much more enjoyed sleeping with certain Kalishes, mwahahaha.

Belive it or not, I sort of remember them as being blond haired with braids, but no slumber parties with them. First one I remember going to was at Lenore Deards, and getting in a lot of scandalously delicious trouble on that night with her, Melody Z and Karen C. It was on that night that I met another Mike who was Karen's cousin and rocked my world in ways I am still processing, and on so many , many levels Around the time of the twins I was a lot more influenced by Nancy Mistretta, Greg Malizzio and a host of other inner suburban Italian puppy children. I guess it was a shadow of things to come in my life. It's funny how years later some things stand out and others seem to fade in the unimportant dust.

...Is someone pregnant again, or is this just the old festery type of simmering rage?

Pregnant kind of sort of. Your cousin Woody is going to be a daddy . Then there is going to be a new cousin, but I think they are waiting to make an announcement at the St Pats day corned beef blow out or at Easter. The new cousin I am not really upset about because in several ways it is going to fill a great big void for at least one of them. But the other is just a result of a lot of really bad decisions.

Now why can't you all just still be happy with Disney videos ???
