busy bee is an understatement. if we're friends on facebook you know whats going on, if not, well we got the house! we closed friday and we've been making 3749573 trips to Lowe's since then.

Divorce isn't always about not loving someone but its always about not being able to live with someone or what they are or have become.

I know that but it's just weird, they divorced because my mom was seeing someone else...

and they've both been remarried for a very long time.

It might have just been a slip or maybe your father found it easier to just say that rather than ex wife, maybe he doesn't like people to know he was divorced. Divorce used to have a negative stigma attached to it, not so much these days as its more common than people staying together.

Is it possible your step mom is sick and he and she haven't told you?

It sounds like your parents had an amicable divorce though...maybe that's why your dad referred to her still as his wife. I think that's actually really sweet :)
