Just a quick note to let whoever is interested in my life know that I'll be vanishing off the face of the virtual earth for about a week or so. One business trip blends into another, so I won't be coming home in between but will take a day off and spend the time with my family

Apparently, I didn't make that clear enough: -19 C somewhere in eastern Germany last night ...

It sounds worth than it is. I have two appointments in Frankfurt, one on Tuesday/Wednesday and another on Friday. So I have decided to take Thursday off to visit my family instead. Much less travelling time and some fun :-) And I'll spend the weekend with my sister and parents as well. So it's not only stress ...

This is beyond ridiculus. And we don't have much snow, it is just way too cold for this time of the year. But I met some folk from southern Germany today. There it's not only cold but they are buried beneath piles of snow. In Munich it's been snowing more or less constantly since November ...
