2. The farthest place I have ever been was Tasmania.

Guitar and keyboard occasionally. I was never particularly good at playing the guitar, having tought myself how to play, but it was a great time :-)
2. The farthest place I have ever been was Tasmania.
LOL, I don't think you can get much further from Germany than that.
I think New Zealand is farther away. It does not matter whether you fly via the USA or via Asia. To get to Tasmania, the route via Asia is faster. But it is a very remote place. And the sight of a scientific research vessel in Hobart, either newly returned or prepared for a trip to the Antarctic, only added to that feeling.

But it's good to know that you can leave at anytime you want :-)
I worked for a distant teaching university for a while. We had one student who was in prison. So we had to come to him so that he could pass his tests.
