Yep, Murphy had a field day. Though it could have been worse. The car could have given up somewhere on the Autobahn and not within walking distance of a tram station. I have been visiting my parents last week (550km one way), and I would have driven to work tomorrow morning (90km one way), so I consider myself lucky ... somewhat.

Thanks. It could have been worse, though. The car could have broken down during my trip to my parents last week, or while driving to work tomorrow morning ... But I don't want to know how much that repair is going to cost.
