Car update and Fun With Kids

The Car (tm) is working again. Though my first reaction to that horrible noise was "OMG, we need a new car" (while my second reaction was "OMG, the repair will eat up our whole tax refund we had planned/hoped on spending for our summer vacation"), the actual costs of said repair were rather cheap compared to above mentioned scenarios. Thanks. There is hardly a more efficient way to really wake up in the morning than the sudden need to hunt for a handkerchief ...

The good news? They get less icky as they grow bigger... :)

Do they? I fear they only grow icky in different ways ... A year ago I didn't have to keep her away from mud puddles and I didn't have cacao and yoghurt thrown around in my kitchen and dripping off my cabinets. Neither did I have to scrub wax crayons off of kitchen cabinets, cupboards and walls ...

On the other hand she was soo proud after she had decorated half of my kitchen cabinets, including the dishwasher, with big black wax-crayon Xes ...

At least life isn't boring with her around :-)
