We're a ship for hire. The captain only accepts honest work and we kind of specialize in helping out people in need.

Though I guess we attract our own fair share of trouble ourselves.

A lot of people from the Way are here, so it wouldn't be too hard for you to fit in.

I haven't let anything slip. You're the only one who knows what it was, and you wouldn't have spilled it. The only thing I can think of is that he talked to someone else who was on the Way and put it together. Either that, or he heard about what happened between me and the others on their ship.

Whatever it was, it means I have to go. This time, there's no helping it.

Anyway, if you're not comfortable on the ship, it's best that you get out. From what Ness says, the Convoy's a good place. I'm thinking of heading there myself, at least for a while.

Keep an eye on the captain, okay? I don't know what he knows, and I could be overreacting, but when I met him in Antrim, he said something weird. Everyone in Antrim sees the monsters different, so he said something about mine having masks. If he knows about the thing that possessed me last Long Night, I'm in a lot of trouble. He might have just been talking about me fighting hollows, but I'm pretty damn sure I've never mentioned it to him.

Like I said, it might be nothing, but I don't want to take that chance.

That's very interesting. I wasn't sure it meant anything at the time, but when I was fighting him I got the feeling something was a little off, like he was holding back a little. I don't know what that means. It was just a feeling, an unevenness in his style. Maybe he has some abilities he doesn't like to draw attention to? Either way, I'll keep an eye on him.
