I've been really bad about posting. That probably isn't going to change, I don't have too many stories to tell now and days, and not a whole lot of free time and energy to spend on new and fun projects that result in amusing pictures. Still, I like to write something other than source code every now and then ( Read more... )

The post-grad funk is a killer, and it's a beast that can feed on itself. I ain't exactly qualified to tell ya how to get out of it, but I am around if you ever need to get a little self-confidence by kickin' my ass at bowling ¬_¬

I think this whole adult thing is a good thing, overall, and that joy is a lot harder to attain than happiness. To me happiness is usually fleeting, but joy is contentness even during the hard times in life. We are all going through this phase of realizing we have to be responsible now, like, we have to work and pay bills and eventually buy our own car and (for me) move out, etc. But although it would be eaiser to not have to do any of these things and just "be a kid," it would also be much less rewarding, and I think, it would bring less joy overall. So, it is good that you are becoming a mature adult. :-)

I wish I had an attack bird named Gaucho. :-) Although I do love my cockatiel attack bird named Harper. ;-)

Gaucho.. Harper... throw in a Chicle and we'll have a regular band of almost-Marx-brothers.

Okay, maybe that was a little bit of a stretch...
