Yep, imo you're really getting it right. I generally won't read stuff with an institutionalized slavery theme because it takes such control on the author's part to convincingly describe the accompanying societal delusions and doublethink. Brava.

I know, I've been terribly slow this year. I will try my best, because I do feel ashamed about my slowness. :( Especially when I know how it hurts to have to wait for that next chapter...
