It feels like we've done more elective planning-wise today than we have ever. Which I guess is impressive for a couple of skilled faffers. Yay us! We are on fire.

Where are you heading? I would recommend coming to Singapore because I'm selfish and would like all my friends to come see me this summer, but that would provide you with little hands-on, cultural, worthy experience, so don't come here. Unless you want to, or feel like visiting. Peeple. I have to find some interesting peeple to hang with.

So where are you going, anyway?

We have narrowed it down to Africa.

We got a reply from this medical centre in Kenya, to whom we'd sent CVs. They said that they aimed to take medical students who could not only share their medical skills but also their strong Christian faith, and they'd accept us only if we were two such.

Which is fair enough. They are more open minded and giving than we could ever be, after all.

So, in essence, I don't know where we're going! Aarrrgh.

Arrrgh. Africa sounds incredible, and Kenya even more so, but I guess you can't even really fake being a Christian, let alone a strong one. Does that mean they expect you to attend church in full force and spread the word throughout their community? Wow, I never knew electives gave such issues.

I know someone going to NYC for his, and another in is in South America right now. *jealous of all medics round the world*

How long will your elective be and when does it start? Man, I can't stop thinking of travelling.
