Windows XP is just being silly. It tells me it's "lost" my local* profile, suggests that it could have become "corrupted", and insists on logging me on to a generic temporary profile, which is pale blue where it should be pale pink, and wrong in most ways. And apparently to rectify this I have to create two other profiles. Really, Windows XP.

God I love your posts! Dey, that whole conversation is animated in my head, I can literally see and hear the people. Hahahahaha.

I didn't think Kenya would be that bad! East London is where all the interesting things happens it seems. Not that you should stay there for your elective of course :p Is Kenya a definite now? Or are you going to take shopkeeper's advice and get more opinions on the matter?

That was a bizarre 20 minutes.

Think probably looks like Kenya as I'm up for having adventures, and so is Papia, and we'll follow basic common sense rules. And the unit there seems quite geared up to receive elective students, so people've been going there for a while now. We should be alright.

I mean, it wouldnt hurt to apply elsewhere as well, to see what comes back.

Adventure galore you will no doubt have. If they've had students over before, it must be nothing unfamiliar, so you should be fine. These people have obviously only been to the worst places, or maybe it just happened to be the fateful day when everyone you met had suffered from a really bad experience. Either way I am envious, as Kenya sounds like a wonderful place to be, and I'm sure will provide you with milestones of medical-worthy experience.

Hahhaha, that has been the best post on my friends page in a long while! *gets lynched*

I wish that interesting things happened to me, however, my corner shop is now "smile local" (local you say?) and has a retard woman who has probably never been out of the outskirts of Bath in her life, this, added to the fact that she has the social ability of... well, something with no social ability, makes it highly doubtful that I would ever ask her opinion on anything.

Having said this, I might ask her views on the political, social and economical state of Kenya for you, it could be fun?

xx

ps. ahh, we came together over the league, and papa laz, and being the only two people to have the abbreviation in their interests... memories, oh, memories...

I haven't seen the film yet, have you?

Man, ask her! Maybe she has a wealth of suggestions on the matter. (But be careful in case she has some kind of monster offspring waiting to be married upstairs.)
