Don't you love observing everyday things like that? Sometimes it's so boring, but then you get the days when human behaviour has a spasm of oddities and incredible normalness, and this is why having a journal makes me grateful. Things like these can be spoken about, but in words, it seems to have this nostalgic feel that is so appropriate for the audience.
And some kids in this world are endearing, I think it's times like that when parents really feel fulfilled.
Maybe that woman in cheapside had a husband who patronises the strip club, and she's knows it but he doesn't, and felt the need to take her stress out on the poster, and saving maybe 10 other women from the same heartache? But then I think she would've ripped it off with extreme aggression, so I think your theory on squashing the competition is more plausible. Do strip clubs have shares? It's odd to think of them as an enterprises.
