Autism

My nephew AJ has Autism. He is in the extreme end as he needs 24 hour care and he does not speak. Despite this my boy is gorgeous, he gives you hugs (okay he then indicates you should leave him alone :)) and he shares in some jokes. He can be kind of cheeky. He's also nearly 21.

*sniffles* My Niece has Aspergers Syndrome, she's lucky in the sense she gets some of the help she needs, but the government could give her and her mum so much more.

Well fortunately AJ gets a lot of help and he goes to an Adult Day Training Centre. However this wasn't the case so much when he was little. It's cute when his Mum makes him collect his brothers before he can leave :)
