I do wish the show had played more with the internal dynamics of the expedition that would come with being multi-national. But I suppose that would have meant fewer explosions. ;p

I know, it was supposed to be multinational but with the writers they had getting the Canadian was considered outside the norm.
Posting the thing was almost as hard as writing it!

A history lesson and Rodney reading poetry. Who could ask for more? (I'm sure they'd celebrate Veteran's Day/Remembrance Day on Atlantis, too. It's nice to imagine this as well.)

I'm sure they'd commemorate the other days (especially after this because they're a competitive bunch). I'm glad you liked it because it means I got it right.

This is lovely. I had no idea the casualty rates were so high! It's good to see a memorial.

If I can make one quibble? Text size and changes in several places, including in the hymn Teyla sings and "In Flanders fields". I'm not sure why, but it actually makes a few lines hard to read on my computer. You might see if there's an easy fix for that.

It's a good thing you explained barramundi, because I'm afraid I wouldn't have gotten that! I don't think you need to worry about spellings, though. Even we clods from the States can manage.

Of course you can quibble. This is my first effort, so if I get a quibble about text then I've not done too badly. I tried to fix those text things but I may have missed some. I can have another go.
