I've been tired lately, much too tired to have made any sort of meaningful recording over the last couple of weeks. It's the sort of fatigue that creeps up on you, that's difficult to notice until it's the end of the day and you come back from the classroom full of plans and ideas, only to collapse uselessly for hours on the bed or in the chair. I never understood racism. I understand disliking most members of certain ethnic group because their cultural practices as a whole are ANNOYING, but not arbitrarily saying, "You don't look like me HAAAAAAATE." I only hate on specific people for what they do, not for who they are or what they look like.

Love TED talks! I saw this one about a year ago. Public schools killing creativity and producing a society of people afraid of being wrong. Really discovering the gifts inside all children, regardless if they fit the arbitrary hierarchy of public school education, is the key to making the world a better place. This is why keeping the curriculum varied in all schools is important.
