How would you be limiting yourself intellectually by failing to take this class? How would you be doing anything dishonest (intellectually or otherwise)?

If you ever want/need the class, you can take it. But now you won't enjoy it and you won't need it. The worst thing that can happen if you don't take it is later you'll find you need it, and you'll take it then.
