[MOMMA! Looks up, grins, and waves cheerfully. He flips the notepad to a new page and starts writing.]

[ Hi! I've been okay, except those weird doctors kept poking and prodding me with needles and stuff. They didn't even give me candy like Doctor Barber used to! ]

*HERE COMES CONNIE. But what's this? he's wearing a rather heavy coat, a hat and gloves. And one arm seems to be missing as one sleeve seems to flop lazily in the wind. But he notices the boy and wonders what he's scribbling so he walks over to investigate, at a safe distance so that people didn't think he was some... creeper pedo.*

Flap's not noticed Conrad yet though, with his tongue all pokin' out in concentration on getting the lollipop trees just right. talk to him]
