Awh, what a (doubly) happy ending! I can only imagine what a trial this was - your writing here does so well to convey all the milestones you measured, all the anxiety you must have felt, throughout Ellie's early growth and your pregnancy. I know you must be grateful for every day. <3

I'm sitting here all teary-eyed because obviously I knew about most of this, but the way you write about it just gets me so emotional. Even knowing how it ends, my heart still breaks for you with everything leading up to Ellie. Gosh, they are both getting SO BIG, too!
