i wish we had turned it off but there were some funny parts so it wasn't so bad. After watching the movie i read a summary on each chapter of the book and found out they cut out like ten chapters. Also, they cut most of the dialog which would have made the movie understandable. For example, in the book, the Grandpa was not very nice to the woman who brought them to Trachenbrod. He called her a liar when she spoke about the things that happen in Trachenbrod. In the movie you are lead to believe that the Grandpa is one of the people who lived in Trechenbrod and that he is the one who lived through the firing squad.

It's possible that it could have been a good movie, but it wasn't. On the other hand, we all did agree that it was a fitting character for Elijah Wood, the little freak.

me and josh rented it and felt the same. We laughed everytime he said Premium and we swore we would start using that word in everyday life. we never did. but that was the only good thing about that movie. and that old guy in a tub of his own blood.
