The .5 Factor

One of the guys in IT had an interesting point. He said in college, if you're in a serious relationship, your GPA goes down .5 points. More so if you get into a fight with your significant other. I guess some of his friends did a study on this in college and that's what they found out. I thought it was funny, but the correlation is very plausible ( Read more... )

Haha, maybe that's why I'm around a 3.5 gpa! Though I had a 4.0+ for at least 3.5 years of my relationship... that's pretty damn good. Now, I'm just lazy and I want to spend more time having fun then worrying about every piece of homework... but I'm a bad egg.

Of course there's gotta be other things than relationships that can bring down a GPA, but I found it funny because his doctor friends grades went to the toilet whenever they fought with their girlfriends, then came back up when they were good to them lol...

And I just found out I got straight A's this quarter woo!! AND I was dating too!! Double woo!! XD
