i'm back. well, the timeline for this is roughly as follows: the 18th, graduation (sooo lame, the chairman of goldman sachs was the speaker. even the young republican kids were disappointed by this irrelevant [not even a practicing lawyer? or judge/political figure?] and unprestigious choice [their words, one guy was like, i'd rather have commie ( Read more... )

heee. That was not a very long update, but since I didn`t post mine yet, I won`t complain.
How`s your schedule like with classes anyways?

P.S. I`ll post address and contact #s in my next post.
P.P.S. Don`t die doing Barbri, you dork. ;)

yeah, that would be the uncoolest way to die ever. but the books are so heavy, and i have them stacked into a tall tower, so if they fell on me i think it would crush me.

the schedule is basically 9-1 on most days, with some 9-5 days, particularly on the weekends it tends to be the 9-5 schedule.

the contact info (and elaboration of what you, olivia and mark were up to at 3am), will be lovely

If that happened, I might have to submit you to the darwin awards, friendship or not. ;) (j/k, love you.)

If I ever decided to chat you up again, it`d have to be your afternoons and my mornings then I take it?

We were doing ultra-sekrit stuff!

Meanwhile, my jetlag is so totally killing me...

lol, if i'm going to die young i'd at least like my death to garner a little attention, so i probably wouldn't mind :)

yeah... i'm thinking calling after 2pm will work for me, since i'm actually going to all of my classes regularly.

i feel for you on the jetlag thing. when i lived in australia we'd have that awful flight, its killer. incidentally, that is the only time i've been to japan- a short layover at the tokyo airport, which seemed all hyper-modern and spacy to me at the time.

Sounds like fun!

So this Barbri thing -- it seems rather endemic to the law school experience, but I'm wondering why it's sooo much soooo quickly. Do I understand that it's meant to prepare you for whatever bars to which you plan to apply? Is there anyway to prepare before graduation from law school?

i think the pace is as it is because the window for studying is so small- the CA bar is the last 3 days of july, and i think the NY and other bars are close to that date. so it's really only june and july that you can dedicate to studying ( ... )
