Loki wasn't sure if he wanted a repeat of last week or not. On one hand, it'd been interesting to talk to someone who was, in a way, like him. On another hand, she had a mouth like no other on her. Well, maybe he found that entertaining too. It was almost like she was a more hyper Bartleby or something

Whether Loki wanted a repeat or not, there was, around lunch-time, a familiar figure lingering in his doorway. Helpfully, it wasn't nearly so loud as it had been last week.

In fact, George actually looked a bit subdued.

"So I ... figured I should .... apologize, I guess," she said, without much preamble.

And, being George, she was going to assume that that counted as one.

"Oh yeah?" Loki asked, not looking up but recognizing the voice all the same. "And here I was looking forward to another week of cursing and accusations."

George folded her arms. "I said I was sorry," she said, not realizing that that was not in any way actually true. "You don't have to be a dick about it."

"Um, you actually didn't say anything close to sorry," Loki pointed out, shaking his head. "Might wanna rewind that in your head so you can see I'm right."
