I rather hate coming back to school. Not because of classes, I actually really welcome all that stress and activity to keep me running around instead of being a chump, but because when you come back from break everyone asks the same question

good god you are alive on lj and you did post TWICE!!! holy shiznit... it's really nice to see when people you know reach this point and come to this conclusion. we need to stop the habit of always going with that flow and fake cordiality or always saying "good" or "great" or "fine" when it isn't so. i had a teacher quite a few years ago (tries not to look toooo old *sweats*) that would always say that it was almost selfish to not be positive an say that things were not great or good or whatever and i believed it at that point, but over the years, i have too come to that understanding that it is better to tell what is really going on and to open yourself to others, especially those you care for and care for you, to the truth and to LET THEM be there for you as a friend, a shoulder, an ear, whatever you may. it isn't right to always go with that flow. it is important, too, to keep those that you care for close and to realize that the bond is stronger than you think. this might not always apply, but it's incredibly important to
