Last night Charlotte and I headed up to Bury to see Thea Gilmore play. I don't think either of us regretted it for an instant. Support was provided by Erin McKeown, who is a very small woman with very big hair, and an even bigger voice. She was good, but nothing too special. Admittedly, I had the speaker right next to my ear, which didn't help

Means "Can I get more post-processing sound in the stage monitor pointed at me"
Unusual. Mostly musicians want "dry" sound - as in without any kind of processing / reverb / etc.
