Today I noticed that Amee sell pots and compost.  I've been agonising for at least two days about how to get to a garden centre, and it turns out I needn't have worried.  Tomorrow I am going to walk into Rusholme and buy some (ZOMW bike withdrawal!).  Possibly a trowel too if they have them.  Then I will plant my spinach babies, and wait to see

Re annoying words, oh how I feel your pain. Normalcy and obligated do my head in. Every time I hear "obligated" I just want to yell "IT'S OBLIGED!!!" but thankfully I've learnt to control the urge!

My personal anti-favourite is the use of words like "fellowship" and "reverence" as verbs. When our minister says things like "and next Sunday we're going to fellowship together to reverence God" I have very un-Christian thoughts towards him, involving a large stick and/or a concrete donkey.
