Oh dear.  I relented and joined the choral evensong appreciation society.  Hopefully that will satisfy for the near future...

the church i spoke at on sunday moring was a 'smells and bells' church.
Anglo-catholic was someone's description - my first reaction was 'identity crisis'!

Lucky you. Identity crisis is somewhat unfair I think, as someone who grew up in (and adores) anglo-catholic worship.

The church is very nearby - on the corner of Hart Rd and Lloyd St.
