Hey parents; here's a reminder to never let your kid near the stove when you're boiling water. Really. That container of steaming, hot stuff is like The Big, Red, Candylike Button for most kids. Word. It's why the stove is always off-limits to the small person in my life.

Even if it's off. Even if nothing's on it.

Touching the stove is one of the perhaps three things he can do that will make me raise my voice to him - I'm THAT serious about it, because my EMS education featured a few facial burn photos that I'm never going to be able to wipe from memory.
