Keychain

So this is how it feels
To be in possession
Of a lighter keychain

Peeling them off
One by one
Into the evening breeze

Unburdened
From all the things
I didn't say

Ooh, free music - and the Whitlams and Alex Lloyd. *swoon*

However, I have prior engagements on the shores of the Northern Beaches that morning, a dance class in the evening, and a farewell houseparty that night. Energy willing, I'll endeavour to drop by for a mid-arvo interlude. :o)

We definitely need time to hang out and catch up... so much has happened since we last saw each other... a lot that you already know about, but I still need to get my Flip Mojo/Homojo back.

evidently i missed some of the meaning. i did like the poem though. hope you're all ok... it does sound like u've been unburdened, and that's kinda nice.

Hey, man. If you can pull it off...

I'm just teasing, obviously. I have no idea anything that's going on with your life, so ...a poem about a keychain may indeed be very philosophical. I always got Cs on my poetry critiques in Creative Writing, anyway.

It had something to do with a Jewish boy; but you'll always be my favourite online Jew. :o)
