I hate going places alone.

I cannot even sleep, I have myself all terrified and flustered. I do not want to go. I do not like being alone, even moreso in strange surroundings. Everyone is going to be so far away and I will have no one. Not one bone in my body is looking forward to going. I am not even lying a little there. Right now I am completely fine with staying at home ( Read more... )

I thought I was the only one who thought that way. I am extremely scared too. I can see myself crying when I go there to move in. Let's go and make the Delta difference instead! Hah.

I know you don't want to hear this but i'm gonna say it anyway.

you are going to be just fine.

you are not the first person to ever go off to college along.

many have gone before and they have lived to tell about it.

and as i recall...didn't you spend 2 weeks in europe? without friends and family?...
remember i decided to go last minute and you weren't really friends with jenny or liz and you had the time of your life.

College will be like going to europe...fun, exciting, scary, but at the end you'll look back and wish you were there again.

just believe in yourself, we all do.

Spending 2 weeks in Europe is completely different. Going there I at least knew people who were going and had actually talked to them before. I know no one who is going to Western and those that are going from Heritage I've never spoke to. I understand that you are trying to make this seem better but you have no idea how its going to be but thank you for trying.

hey chica. i was the same way when i went to central. i was scared...didn't know anyone and was freaked out. but the cool thing about college is that you don't need to know anyone when you first get there. you get to meet tons of other people that are in the same position that you're in. you'll go to classes with hundreds of other kids and you don't even have to talk to anyone because the teacher will be talking the whole time...you'll always have your roommate there for you...hopefully...as long as you like her. which i'm sure you will because you're an easy person to get along with and you're totally fun! when i went away i didn't like to do anything by myself at all. i was scared to even walk to classes by myself! but the atmosphere is so much different there because almost everyone is in the same position that you're in. I know you're prolly thinking that it's scary to meet new people. which it really is. i still think that way...but it's actually really easy ( ... )
