Coming out of the haze

It's a real trip, isn't it? For me, it felt like a million years had gone by, yet I'm still naive and floundering. Parenthood and all its messes and joys can be overwhelming. I'm glad nursing has gotten better. I was crazy emotional during my nursing difficulties. You seem to be managing well. Miss you lots!

good idea on the pumped breastmilk to stop overwhelmed feelings!
I just saw my friend and her 8 week old last night, and she was asking about when she'd stop spraying her son in the face, I remembered that things got so much better at 10 weeks, and immensely more so at 12.
We need to come see Birdie, are you allowing kid visitors? I guess we'll see you Sunday!

Hey! We're heading to Houston to see my family on Saturday so are missing brunch (big bummer!!). The timing of the immunizations and my return to work made this series of weekends the only ones that work, and my mom can't take time off so it was important to be there for as many weekend days as possible. We're going to miss seeing all of you!

We are accepting healthy kid visitors, so let's get something on the books for when we're back after the 22nd. I want to see that belly;-)
