Teaser: Our visit to Joshua Tree National Park

My girlfriend, ixchelmala, took me and her cousins to see Joshua Tree National Park yesterday. We woke up at the ass-crack of dawn, put lots of food and water in the trunk, and drove for two hours until we finally arrived. The sun was just coming up over the hills and the view was spectacular

Oh honey! I'm so bummed I missed seeing this! I really enjoyed going up there and I hope we might go back later in the year when it's cooler and we can go off roading all proper like:)
