First 1/2 of my day...
I've been having a hard time falling asleep at night lately; turning in around 2-3am. Resulting in waking up in the late afternoon...which I hate. But today I woke around 9:30 allowing me to get some things done around the house. I was looking forward to today b/c I had a Borders coupon for 30% off on one book and one CD. After clearing up the kitchen, I took a chance (for those who don't know, i'm having car troubles) and revved up the car to claim my goods. I decided to get a journal with the hope of actually putting it to use. I've bought my share of journal-hopefuls without any of them making it through to the last page. After much debate and consideration; I narrowed down my 7 choices to one. The cover is basic: blue, black, gray rectangles but what made it a winner was the layout of the pages...yes small things like that matter to me...I can't help it. I picked up Sarah Brendel's CD and the new Art Review magazine. This issue is about the top 100 emerging artists around the world. Even though I'm not into following art trends; I think it's important to see where the Art world is going and what's being produced today. After a swing to Kash N' Karry, I picked up a Beef Broccoli lunch special and headed home. We finally have a decent chinese restaurant in my area. The one that's been here for years is scary to say the least. Far East is a hole in the wall but the food and service is great...always remembering to throw in the chop sticks.
Well...since this post is titled : First 1/2 of my day" I guess I don't have anything else to say until the other 1/2 passes by...
