I know most of North America is starting Autumn but we don't have Autumn here.  We have Summer and "Not Summer".  Summer is from March through October and Not Summer (aka Tourist Season) is November, December, January and February.  Heck, a couple of years ago we had Hurricane Wilma less than a week before Halloween ( Read more... )

I like that statement about our alleged seasons here. You are so right, we have summer and not summer. It is in the high 80's here and we just found out that MTV is going to be on the beach for the greater part of 6 weeks for "live" filming during Spring Break. Aren't we just special. *sigh - what a nightmare that's going to be.

I just had my desktop in a shop a month or so ago and had my hard drive taken to the bones. It runs a lot better now. I'll have to do that with the laptop soon because it's slow as molasses now.

I can't believe your baby is in Middle School!!! Jeesh, doesn't time fly?
I totally "get it" about real life and the pressures, I just want to "see" you hear when you can be and am always happy to know you are close by. I'm going to Lakeland for the weekend, is that anywhere near you?

Wish I was close to Lakeland - I live near Ft Lauderdale (about 25 miles N of Miami).
