I just arrived in Vienna yesterday - it is completely gorgeous. I might almost like it more than Florence; I'm not sure yet, especially since Florence was supposed to be so near and dear to my heart. I have never run on two and a half hours of sleep so well in my life. Italy is wonderful madness.

Italia won the World Cup!!
My unbelievable luck is being in Italy when it happened, too.

I had such a wonderful birthday last night. I had perhaps the best dinner and definitely the best wine I've ever tasted in a beautiful restaurant, and then I hit one of the local dance clubs and had a great time. Thanks for the happy birthday wishes, everyone, they were definitely fulfilled.
