i need a good book to read. i got a gift certificate for amazon i haven't used yet because i simply have no idea.

i was thinking of buying both 'blindness' and 'seeing' by jose saramago, but i'm open to suggestions.

(novels)
"Lullabies for Little Criminals"
"The Perks of Being a Wallflower"
"The Contortionist's Handbook"
"The Horn of a Lamb"
"Stranger in a Strange Land"

(not novels)
any of Karen Armstrong's books on religion, if that interests you
"A History of Reading"

Though Saramago sounds like he'd be a good read, so maybe just stick to that.

twilight by stephenie mayer of course.

kitchen is a fantastic book too. it's about a girl with a OCD for strange things. it sounds weird, but it's beautifully written.

yeah, i've read the twilight books. they are good in a fluffy kind of way, but i'm looking for a bit more of a stimulating read.
