heh, I've loved the princess bride since I was like... 4? I had the biggest crush on Cary Elwes, I don't think any of my other crushes have matched that one. geez, that's sad. I've been meaning to read Girl Interrupted and White Oleander but always forget when I go to the library, but now I must get them because you told me to. whee! xox

artists: carolee schneeman, artemisia gentileschi, hieronymus bosch (the garden of earthly delights crazy, crazy shit), claude cahun, judy chicago/barbara kruger/mariam schapiro (but you probably already know about them)

books: lesbian ethics, my year of meats, the S.C.U.M manifesto (yeah, you have to take it with a grain of salt, but it's awesome)

when you posted yesterday about lesbian ethics I checked my library system, and they don't have it :(. You should scan every page and post it! same thing with s.c.u.m. that can be your new goal in life, post books that I can't find at the library. neat!

ps. I love you.

we could do a trade. and don't worry, when it comes to books I am completely obsessive and return them quickly in immaculate condition. tomorrow I'll list all the books on my shelf right now and you can let me know if you're interested in reading any of them.

oooh, I love Vonnegut. If you haven't read Breakfast of Champions, then read that too. and Cat's Cradle.

and yes, now I love you. All those other times when I said that I loved you ... well, I was lying. but love means never having to say you're sorry! yay!

minutae.net and all of its hosted sites and I don't know, I can't remember most sites I visit (no good!).

I could go on and on about books but I'll keep it to my favourite most recently read ones.
The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho
Sexual Personae: Art and Decadence from Nefertiti to Emily Dickinson - Camille Paglia
Any Milan Kundera
the Passion Dream Book - Whitney Otto
the Complete Claudine - Colette
the Lake of Dead Languages - Carol Goodman (if you ever want more, let me know!)

movies, movies...
13 Conversations about One Thing
Secretary
Tape
Gattaca
Hamlet (Ethan Hawke version)
Cecil B. Demented
anything with Molly Ringwald!
oh my memory is terrible, but there are so many more...

(too lazy to use links)
users/bobdole is genius
users/vignoche is lovely
users/lizdefiance is another genius girl (hopefully this didn't cut off but it probably did)
