Because this entry is Friends Only it wouldn't let me respond anonymously, but here's something anyway:

I teetered on the edge of bulimia for a few weeks at the beginning of this term, and I'm ashamed that I did.

Oh! thanks for letting me know about the Friends only thing. I guess I should switch it to public (you can re-post that comment as anonymous if you want).

You are definitely not alone on this one. I think almost everyone I know (especially females) have some sort of issues with food and body image... I've been discovering this more and more as I get closer to people.

Please come talk if you ever need to. *hugs*

Last year, a lot of people on my friends' list put this in their journals. I had a lot on my mind and no one to tell it to, so I took full advantage.
My secrets scared and upset people.
So I don't do this one anymore.

It's more upsetting to me to think about you keeping those secrets all to yourself. I posted this because I wanted to be there for anyone who needs someone to listen.

If you change your mind, I'll be here.

My confidence is an act. I am insane with insecurities.

a lot of people with very strong personalities and who seem overly confident and sure of themselves are really hiding their insecurities and lack of self-confidence. It's just another way to deal with it... we all have our own ways of dealing with that stuff.

I have CPS, or Compulsive Picking Syndrome. I pick at my face, scalp, shoulders, chest, and knees constantly. It's a subset of OCD, and I cannot stop. I hate it.

I'm not going to pretend to understand what that's like for you but I can only imagine...

I have that picking thing too. My arms are all scared up and my face has scars. I hate the idea of stuff being under my skin, zits, moles, etc. THEY MUST GO

I'm almost positive I have either genital warts or herpes, but I don't want to tell anyone and one of the only reasons I'm still with my boyfriend is because I'm afraid if I loose him I'll never find anyone who loves me ever again.

Please see a doctor as soon as possible! This can be treated and it will only get worse if you ignore it.

If you are only staying with your boyfriend because you are afraid that you will never find anyone else, you may want to think about things a bit more because that is not really fair to either of you. There are many people out there who I'm sure would love you if they got to know you :) *hugs*
