sounds like you were totally in the right. i'm always afraid to get mad at people for that - everyone rides their bike on the sidewalks here in pg - marc gets mad at people.. i usually just move onto the grass and get angry inside. one day i will explode and it will probably be at a young kid or something.
if i was walking my dog and this happened i would have raged! i honestly think this was just fine. and maybe you taught that kid some manners.

POOR KID GOT PUNCHED IN THE FACE THE DAY BEFORE BY HIS DAD CUZ HE WAS RIDING HIS BIKE ON THE DANGEROUS ROAD.
