[ A common reaction to suddenly appearing in a brand new place with so many unknown elements is panic. Falkner certainly did panic, and for a great deal of time; there were so many questions in his head that he didn't even know where to start.
When he gets around to actually using his journal, however, he is much calmer... or, at least, that's what it sounds like. He's in the forest but the only indication of that is the sounds of birds and other wildlife. ]
Hello... Do you hear me? [ He waits a few seconds before continuing. ] Some of my possessions are missing. [ It's a simple statement, but something that he really is irritated by. Not just because they're missing... but also for the fact that someone took things from him. A cop. It's strangely ironic and a low blow to his pride. Why they took things like his boomerangs, though, and not his police or gym badge is something he can't understand, but he's grateful that things are this way. ] It's not an entirely huge deal. I do wonder, though, how things are handled in... this place. Is theft common?
