i've been doing it off and on for a couple of years. i manage with just my hands now, but i used to fold a thin towel around them so that just the face poked out, then tried to get the syringe in through the side of their mouth, behind the teeth. the awful part is that sometimes they refuse to swallow and it leaks out, but blowing lightly on their noses or tapping their throats occasionally gets them to swallow. i try to give them something they like the taste of directly after, too. it gets exhausting.
what did they give you? baytril is the only thing i've had to force on all four girls at one time or another.
I'm not sure what it's called but it's a pink liquid in a little vial. I tried wrapping them up in a towel but they both manage to squirm out of it. I'll try the blowing in their nose thing, one is notorious for spitting it out (and of course, she's the one that needs it the most lol) thanks :)
