it was on nickelodeon. it was a game show. where you went through an obstacle course thing, but these THINGS WITH WEIRD FACES WOULD JUMP OUT AND GET YOU AND PULL YOU INTO AN ABYSS OR SOMETHING.

OMG! This makes me feel so old. I didn't watch like any of those show(except the Tick) because I was already in high school and college. Although I did do the Macarena but only when completely sloshed out of my gourd.
