So, my computer is on a list of factory recalls from HP due to motherboard failure. PRETTY LAME, HUH? Basically they fucked up big time when they manufactured my computer. This is Tom. A Toyota Celica is a great first car. My first two cars were Celicas. They are reliable and easy to maintain. You can more than likely find one used for not too much either. Happy Thanksgiving and tell Mike I say "Hi."

Thanks! Don't know if I want a sports car but Toyotas seem pretty solid :) I wouldn't say no to a cheap Celica, that's for sure! Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!

:) Thanks! Yeah, my dad hasn't had any problems with his VWs either, really -- but he takes great care of them and keeps everything up to date, so...

I think a lot of it comes down to care and maintenance, excellent point!

I LOVE Mazda. My first car was a Mazda Protege and I own a Mazda 3 now. I've never had to have any major repairs and they are pretty inexpensive used. My Dad had his Mazda for almost 20 years before buying a new car.

I've also had good experiences with Toyota. I've liked Camry and Ryan loves his Tacoma.

If you treat a toyota right, it will run FOREVER. Until it dies. I've had good luck with my '93 toyota camry. :)
