My boys club mates tell me that drawing boxes in powerpoint slides and writing a bunch of lies in concise bullet points ...

Seeing how atrociously bad I am at this, I have potentially life changing issues to ponder.

See, that's the only bit I don't agree with. Have you noticed the number of the girls from college who turned into MBA-types? Who, as we all know, revel in boxes and powerpoint.
Rumor has it that once they discover stratified, multi-colored pyramids to represent abstruse phenomena, they get promoted to CEO.

Have you noticed the phenomenon of drifting into MBA-type roles being confined to the female gender? To me, it seems like an "equal opportunity" affliction targeting both guys and girls who don't enjoy the penurious joys of being mere code monkeys.

I respectfully submit that the percentage of women (from engineering sciences) who discover the joys of an MBA far exceeds that of the boys. Of course, if you take into account the prior distributions, it becomes evident why the numbers in totality are comparable, thus deceiving you.
