Apparently Disney is putting Cinderella back in their vault soon, so you'd better buy a copy while you can. They're also going to put away Cinderella 2 and 3.

Wait, they made 2 sequels? Who gave those productions the green light?

So now I've got a bigass tv, new speaker system (with remote!), and a comfy couch to enjoy it all from. BSG looks lovely, and I can read websites without squinting.

I think the only tech I still want to buy is a new gamepad. The current one is wired, doesn't have a long cord, and is generally flaky anyways.

Our work has an odd system of security features in use for accessing the wireless network. It took me quite a while in Windows to figure out how to get it going, even with the instructions. Microsoft likes to hide options in a lot of odd sub-areas.

It took about 10 minutes in Ubuntu, because all of the wireless options are on one screen.

Yay, Christmas Eve.

Our chefs at work locked all the clean utensils in the kitchen this weekend, instead of leaving a tray out on the counter.

I had to wash a dirty fork so that I could eat my lunch.

Also, the dish soap is missing. Probably locked in the kitchen too.

My Oma passed away this morning. It wasn't unexpected - she was diagnosed with cancer last year and has been getting progressively worse since the summer.

Mom's been there helping to take care of her for a few weeks, so I don't know how she's doing with all this. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a parent. It's hard enough just losing any
