Please, on this upcoming inauguration day, try and recognize that comments about the "inevitable [attempted] assassination" of President Obama are so deeply, profoundly, incredibly insensitive that making one, even mumbling one under your breath, instantly makes you a class-A jerkface.

Back in November I went to the hairdresser to get my hair cut and had to sit next to this horrendously loud man who wouldn't stop talking about how funny it would be if Obama was elected because "he wouldn't last six months." I wanted to punch him in the face. People have made that joke in my presence since, and it is still not funny, and it still does not make them any less of a douchebag.
