Kazuya is waiting for the bus to get him and his best friend Tatsuya. It's 8am and they have to be at school at 8h30.
The bus finally arrived. Kazuya and Tatsuya got in the bus and easily found places to sit for themselves.
Too bad those 2 places are not near each other... they decided to sit there nonetheless; it is only for 30 minutes.
The boy next to Kazuya was a little taller than him, had messy hair and his bag had holes.
"Hello, my name is Kazuya, and you?" He smiled at the other guy.
"Jin"
"Hi Jin! How old are you and which school are you going to?" Kazuya asked smiling widely.
"Shut up! Why you ask so many questions!!" Jin growled at him and turned his head to the window.
"No fun!" Kazuya pouted and turn his head to look at his friend Tatsuya.
The guy sitting next to Tatsuya was the same size as him. Almost.
"Why is a girl sitting next to me?" the boy asked and looked the other from head to toe.
"I'm not a girl! I'm a boy!!" Tatsuya exclaimed and flailed his arms.
"Well you look like a princess to me! I will call you that! And my name is Ryo; I'm 9 and go to Eito Elementary School. You?"
"And you are like a shrimp! I'm Tatsuya, am 9 like you and go to the same school. How come I never met you before?"
"Which class are you in?" Ryo poked Tatsuya's cheeks.
"Stop it!" He pushed Ryo's finger off his face. "I'm in 3B"
"Oh! I'm in 3C"
“Ah same as Koki!” Tatsuya exclaimed.
“You know that weird guy?” Ryo looked confusedly at him.
“Yup he’s my and Kazuya’s friend.” He said pointing at Kazuya.
“How come he’s friend with girls like you?” Ryo poked his cheeks again.
“I SAID I’M BOY!” Tatsuya screamed in his hear just as the bus stopped in front of the school, making him fall on Ryo. “Oops sorry”.
Tatsuya’s face was just inches away from Ryo’s face. Ryo pushed him roughly and got up from his place. “We’re going to be late! Let’s go!” he said and took Tatsuya’s hand in his and began running as Kazuya and Jin got off the bus with them.
They were running as fast as they could since the janitor was closing the front door of the school.
Once in the school, they stopped to regain their breath.
Tatsuya laughed while watching Ryo having a hard time.
Jin saw Kazuya sitting on the dirty floor. He stared at him and stretched out his hand for him to take.
“Are you okay?” he asked gently.
“Ah… Yes I’m okay…” Kazuya said a little out of breath and took Jin’s hand to get up.
They walked to their classes together and went separates ways when they arrived.
“It was fun this morning! See you at lunch Ryo-chan ~” Tatsuya said smiling and entered his class.
“Yeah see you Princess ~ “ Ryo answered and got in his class as well.
In the corridor, Kazuya and Jin were still standing there.
“Why aren’t you going to your class?” Jin asked looking at him weirdly.
“Well my hand is still in yours so…” Kazuya blushed and turned his face to the side.
“Eh?” Jin looked at their untwined hands and let Kazuya’s go and put his in his pocket “Sorry” he added sheepishly. “I’ll go in then, see you later”.
“See you” the boy answered but Jin was already in the classroom. He stared for awhile and got to his class.
At lunch, Ryo and Tatsuya were sitting and eating together with his other friends.
“How come you and Nishikido are friends?” Koki asked and looked at them as if they were aliens.
“I met him in the bus this morning!” Tatsuya chirped and munched on his food happily.
“He sat by my side and almost crushed me when the bus stopped.” Ryo growled.
“Not true!” Tatsuya whined and stuck out his tongue at the other.
“Yes it is! You even almost kissed me!” Ryo blushed and put a rice ball in his mouth to hide his embarrassment.
“Mouuu ~ stop making fun of me already, it’s not my fault the driver doesn’t know how to drive” Tatsuya pouted cutely and got everyone to stare at him.
“Stop that! You girly princess!” Ryo pushed him a little and stared at the wall on the other side blushing.
“I SAID I’M A BOY YOU SHRIMP!” Tatsuya barked at him and got up to smack Ryo’s head with his little hand.
They were fighting like that when Kazuya and Jin joined them.
“What is happening here? Tatchan what’s wrong? Are you having a fever?” Kazuya asked him putting his hand on his friend’s head.
“NO!” Tatsuya blushed hard and leaved them to go to the toilet.
“What did you do again Ryo-chan? You got the princess mad.” Jin said grinning at Ryo.
“Tatsuya is not a princess, baka!” Kazuya said to defend his friend.
“Idiot! I’m the only one allowed to call him that!” Ryo kicked Jin’s knee and got up as well. “I’m going to the toilet! Don’t come!” he said and went away.
“Poor Tatsuya…” Kazuya sighed . He sat and began to eat his food.
“What are you looking at Koki?” Jin poked Koki’s cheek with his chopsticks.
“Uh? Eh? Ah nothing! I was just wondering why Nishikido kept making fun of Tatchan since it’s only been 1 day that they know each other.” Koki whispered.
“Maybe he likes him.” Jin said munching noisily at his food.
“Maybe” Koki said and started eating again while Kazuya looked at them strangely.
In the toilets, Tatsuya was putting water on his face and kept blushing.
“Why can’t it go away already! Mouuu stupid blush stupid shrimp!” Tatsuya wailed.
“Who are you talking to Hime?” Ryo asked and stared at him in the mirror.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!” he screamed and wanted to push Ryo away but he got his hand trapped. “Let me go!” Tatsuya whined and pouted.
“Geez… why are you being cute like that?” Ryo locked his eyes in his and looked at Tatsuya intensely.
“I’m not cute! I’m a boy!” Tatsuya stuck his tongue out again.
“Yes you are a HIME!” Ryo said and kissed Tatsuya softly. “So cute you are blushing” he grinned.
“OMG WHAT DID YOU DO? IT WAS MY FIRST KISS!! AND YOU ARE A BOY TOO! OMG!!”Tatsuya kept flailing but Ryo caught his hands and hugged him. “Stop doing that, will you? Or I’ll make you my girlfriend” He smirked evilly making Tatsuya blush even more.
“NO WAY IN HELL!!” Tatsuya screamed but Ryo kissed him again making him shut up.
“Not funny” Tatsuya was almost crying but Ryo hugged him tight and kissed his head gently.
“OK ok calm down I was only joking. But you’re really cute, I like you.” Ryo blushed too and smiled at Tatsuya.
“You like me? Really? For real?” Tatsuya got his eyes wide and smiled widely at the other.
“Yes I think I really like you because you are cute” Ryo smiled.
“I think I like Ryo-chan too” Tatsuya smiled back and hugged Ryo.
They flailed together and went away hand in hand.
In afternoon class, the teacher asked them to pass her their homework. Tatsuya asked Kazuya to give him his so he could pass it to the teacher but Kazuya looked away.
“What’s wrong Kazu?” Tatchan asked worriedly.
“I… I think I forgot my book at home this morning” Kazuya blushed.
“Eh? Really? So you can’t give the homework?” Tatsuya said and opened his eyes wide.
“Shhh! Tatchan not so loud! The teacher will here you!” Kazuya shushed him.
“What is it boys? Can’t give me the homework?” The teacher looked at them with a severe expression on her face.
“I have mine but Kazu forgot his at home.” Tatsuya said gently while giving his book to the teacher.
“I’m sorry teacher, I will give it to you tomorrow! Promise!” Kazuya joined his hands together and prayed his teacher will be nice.
“Not happening young boy. You will stay here afterclass to clean the corridor!” The professor said and went away.
“I will miss the tv show” Kazuya whined and sobbed a little.
“Don’t worry Kazu, I will record it for you.” Tatsuya smiled at his friend and turned his head back to the board.
It is 4pm, Ryo and Tatsuya are going home hand in hand waiting for the bus to take them back.
They sat and played together until they arrived at their home.
“I’m living here, what about you?” Tatsuya asked his new friend.
“Just around the corner. See you tomorrow Hime!” Ryo said and kissed him on the lips and run away.
Tatsuya went to his home and told his family about his nice day at school. He couldn’t wait til next morning to see Ryo again.
Meanwhile, at school, Kazuya was cleaning the blackboard of the classroom when he heard some noise behind him.
“What are you doing? Not going home?” the other asked.
“Nope, I got punished because I forgot my homework at home.” Kazuya whined. “And Tatchan went home with Ryo” He added and got back to clean the board.
“Want some help? It will be faster, and then we can go home together” the other boy whispered looking away.
“Jin wants to help Kazu? Jin really wants to help Kazu?” Kazuya asked eyes wide.
“It’s not that… I just can’t let you go home alone, or you might be kidnapped by weird people” Jin said and looked at the board. “Gimme that” he took the sponge out of Kazuya’s hand and began cleaning the board for him.
“Thanks Jin, you are not as grumpy as I thought.” Kazuya smiled widely and kissed Jin’s cheeks making him blush.
“Stop it already!” Jin’s cheeks became bright red and Kazuya giggled watching him.
When they finished it was 5pm. Jin accompanied Kazuya to his home who was next to Tatsuya’s.
“Thanks Jin, see you tomorrow!” Kazuya beamed at him and kissed him on the lips then went home and closed the door immediately.
Jin froze and stared at the closed door for awhile before touching his warm lips and went to his home.
