Day One~*

So so so!
Hello everyone, I hope you are having a nice time in the nice and cold Melbourne, while I am burning up here ^^
Now I bring forth my first day in Thailand with some pictures for you~

We got on a 10 hr flight with the Thai airlines.
THE BEST PLANE I HAVE EVER BEEN ON!
The actual seats on the plane were yellow, magenta, and purple. The Thai plane ladies were so nice and would 'wai' everyone.
Thet also changed their outfits during the plane ride.
The had their nomal outfit during landing and take off, then they changed to a more traditional outfit while serving food and while we were up in the air. Such as: (I didn't take many photos because our camera is HUGE and my hello kitty bag is too small!)

In the traditional outfit~

You can kind of see the inside of the plane on this photo I found! I will try to get a nice shot of the plane on my way back~

I spent most of my time there trying to learn Thai, Thai culture, playing those old Nintendo arcade games (kirby pinball: love), and watching videos. I was starting to watch Horton Hears a Who but we landed soon after. We arrived at midnight at the Bangkok airport.
It be HUUUUGE! I lost a lot of weight! (haha, joking joking) But really, it is big. It was all okay until we got outside.
Midnight.
Thailand.
30 degrees.
THIRTYYYYYYYYYYY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! Oh ma gawd!
I was out there, not used to this sudden blast of heat due to the Melbourne winter, boiling and well, I can cope well with the heat once I get used to it but I was just wondering how I would survive the hottest season.
There are only 3 seasons in Thailand: hot, hotter, and hottest. We are currently in the hot rainy season T^T

ANYWAYS!
We arrived at our hotel at 1:00, it is the Sheraton Pattaya:

This is the lobby, it has a huge bell thing hanging in the center and it is so open!

This is one view of one of the many huge pools, neither pictures taken by me unfortunately V_V

After arriving we were greeted (is that right?) by nice smiling Thai people that were always waing us and saying "Sawadeka!"  It is so cool, but I have no idea if I should wai back...I do now but at first it was strange getting used to it. The people here are so nice and kind towards you, thus they call Thailand the 'Land of Smiles' and they do live up to their name. No cheesy government advertising. Well, I ended up going to sleep at 1:30 and had to wake up at 7:30.
We met our lovely 2 tour-guides-house-hunting-Pattaya-showing-lady people and they told us a bit of basic knowledge about Thailand. Then we headed over to house hunting and looking at a school. The school we went to is called ISE..something about International South Eastern....American school. It is SO SMALL! For one grade they have TWENTY people. o_o So tiny. So we decided to not go there.
Then came house hunting, we visited about 4-5 houses, I really can't remember.
One thing I can say about house hunting is that it makes people tired to death. I am so glad we are done looking at houses now!
I was searching for a traditional Thai roof styled house but it was to no avail that day, all of the houses were pretty much old...except two we saw which had HUGE windows, very very big, about two stories high or more! I thought they were pretty cool but imagine the heat that would come through them on sunny days!!

Anyways, after the whole house hunting we went over to this big mall to find a swimsuit for my sis.
There clearly before me lay a PINK COMPLETELY PINK hello kitty stand, it is heaven, really, except my parents didn't want to buy me anything...even though it is so so cheap man. I am determined to get something H.K. before I go back though.
So we went into this department store called Robinsons and it is so cool, it is all in Thai and I love it <3
I really need to learn to speak Thai, I can say some basic stuff so my mom always asks me how to say hello or thank-you or numbers ^^
Yay~

So, after that we headed back to the hotel and my sis went for a swim. I went along even though I didn't swim.
So I just stuck my feet in the water. IT FELT SO NICE! Good thing I am going to have a private pool here~

MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

They had these really cool torches over by the pool, it looks really nice in person.

Then we got bored and went right back to the hotel and I started eating an apple, a very nice one!
OMG TODAY AT THE STORE I SAW THESE JAPANESSE APPLES THAT ARE AS BIG AS THE DISTANCE FROM MY CHIN TO MY NOSE
THEY ARE SO HUGE SO SOSOSO BIG! I wanted one, but my mom was like "no! the bigger they are the worse they taste!"
But I shall get one! and eat it for din din~
So here I was...nothing to do at the hotel...and...well...yeah. I didn't go to sleep right away because it wasn't even 8. So we just chilled.

AND THEN I BECAME AN AWSOME SUPERHERO!
Note the dirty feet, we had to take off our shoes when we went into each house, good thing I wasn't wearing any complex shoes!

AND THUS MY DAY CAME TO AN END!
It doesn't seem very exciting but just being here is awsome <3
Thou shall come and visit me yes yes? If any of you end up over here in Thailand do tell me so that you can come and visit me!

On another note...I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY PICTURE E-MAILS!
I REALLY WANTS THE PICTURES! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
