I have problems in specializing....I'd like to know everything in every direction. (Is it obvious that I'm right now trying to decide whether I should choose control theory2 or propulsion system1 next term? Or if it is possible to squeeze in both, although both lectures are at the same time?)
I have a tendency to dabble too, and I end up knowing a tiny bit about a lot of different things, but not very much about any one thing. Nice to know I'm not alone!
Why does it not surprise me that you took the initiative like that? ;D
I can't remember the first thing I cooked. I think it must have been something from a kids' cookbook my mom got for me when I was about 6. I remember deviled eggs and chocolate cupcakes. I made the cupcakes over and over, with lots of different flavorings and frostings.
Let's see... something odd about me is that I look at people's hands more than I look at their faces. So I generally have a very clear image in my head of the hands of everyone I know. When I was a kid, I had a theory that I could tell people's personality by the shape of their finger nails - it seemed to me that certain personalities went with certain finger nail shapes. I still think that's kind of true, actually. :-)
