I say 'addictive'. But I've heard people argue that the word should be 'addicting'. But I shrug it off as silly and misinformed pedantry. But I don't think 'addicting' is wrong as such - I mean, the way grammar works, you can add 'ing' to a verb to do that, and use the -ing form to make an adjective. For instance, take the verb 'hurt'. You could say 'my thumb is hurting' (being present progressive) but you could then use 'hurting' as an adjective - 'my hurting thumb'. The more common word would be 'sore' - 'my sore thumb'. But no reason why you can't say 'my hurting thumb' instead.

Haha - no, it would have been a better example to give one that had an '-ive' form as the original adjective, but I couldn't think of one off the top of my head.
